Who doesn’t love playing with fire? You probably wouldn’t use this theme with any children in your world but it is a great theme to use on the romantic interest (or ‘flame’) in your life.

Gift Ideas

Think about activities or gifts that involve fire:
- Candles or a campfire
- Meals that use a grill, barbecue or even fondue (including accessories like a barbecue lighter or matches)
- Flares for a car emergency kit
- Flammable alcohols like rum, Sambuca (40-50% alcohol content is ideal)
- Going to see the fireworks (Canada Day, July 4th, local fireworks celebrations like GlobalFest in Calgary, Vancouver’s Celebration of Light, etc.) or just watch some on TV or at the movies.
- Go see a sports team that has a fire-related name (eg: Rockets, Heat, Blazers, Suns) or travel somewhere that has a volcano (even if it’s now extinct).
Think outside the box: incorporate sunscreen into the gift as it helps prevent burns.

Wrapping

Wrapping with flames on it would naturally be a good fit.
Any wrapping would work if you just burn the edges a bit; always do this in a safe place (eg: over your kitchen sink) where you can drop the paper safely if the fire burns faster than expected.

Use quotes or phrases that relate to your theme when you present the gifts or in your card. For example:
- To our favorite fire starter/pyromaniac/the hottest person I know
- In honor of your birthday, we’ve assembled some gifts that reflect your impact on others. We’ll be sure to keep the fire extinguisher on hand.
Either the text could be flame based or the background could have flames in it.
