This one although based on the Christmas advent calendar can be done at any time of the year and for as many days as you like. Here’s how it could work:
- When you have a significant day coming up (i.e. a birthday, anniversary, Christmas, graduation, etc.) pick a certain number of days leading up to it and give your recipient a gift each day.
- The gifts can be something relevant to the occasion, somthing random, a poem, a picture, or just about anything you can think of
- Keep in mind the gifts could be a particular item, something to look forward to or something to remind a person of a memory. I.E. ticket stub from a concert, news clipping
- The gifts can be placed in envelopes or placed in paper that you fold over and tape, staple or glue into an envelope
