Obviously the options here are limitless depending on your giftee’s interests. This can feel daunting, but we can help.

Some ideas for any dad:
- Take your dad out for dinner. Check out our list of ideas around dining options.
- Take him out to an event (concert, theatre, sports). Search out ideas based on events.
- Send your dad on a trip somewhere. Explore themes covering travel destinations.
On a budget? Your time is one of the best gifts you can give. Offer to help with a project your dad is working on or meet him for a walk. Try designing your own gift certificate for this.
Participate in a charity walk or run on Father’s Day or one that helps a cause that’s near and dear to his heart.

Try wrapping your gift with plain paper and applying pictures of your dad on it. If you have kids, have them draw a pictures on it.
Use the word ‘father’ vertically and add in your own descriptions to each letter (like you did when you were a kid). Click here to see an example.

Use quotes or phrases that related to fathers when you present the gifts or in your card. For example:
